Ingredients

Liquid base

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk (or any plant milk you like)

Fruit

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen dark pitted cherries
  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled and broken into chunks

Cramy Boost

  • 1 container (about 5.3 oz or 150 g) vanilla-flavored vegan Greek-style yogurt

Optional

  • A few ice cubes, for extra thickness if you want it extra cold

Instructions

  • STEP 1). Grab your blender and add the soy milk first. This helps everything blend smoothly and avoids getting stuck at the bottom.
  • STEP 2). Toss in your frozen blueberries and cherries. These give your smoothie that deep, rich color and a pop of fruity flavor.
  • STEP 3). Break your banana into chunks and throw that in too. It adds creaminess and a natural sweetness that brings the whole smoothie together.
  • STEP 4). Scoop in the vanilla-flavored vegan Greek yogurt. This is where the magic happens. It makes everything extra creamy and adds a nice little tang.
  • STEP 5). If you want your smoothie super cold and thick, drop in a few ice cubes. Totally optional but a nice touch, especially on hot days.
  • STEP 6). Pop the lid on your blender and blend until everything’s smooth and dreamy. Give it about 30 to 60 seconds.
  • STEP 7). Open it up, take a peek, and if it looks too thick, you can splash in a bit more plant milk. Blend again real quick if you do.
  • STEP 8). Pour your smoothie into your favorite glass or to-go cup and enjoy right away while it’s icy and fresh.
